THE ATTRACTIONS OF THASSOS
Trypiti Beach

Trypiti is a long beach with sand and pebbles, well organized and easily accessible. At one end of the beach, there is a small cave by the sea.

Aliki Ruins

The ancient marble quarry dating back to the 7th century BC and the two Early Christian Basilicas are significant archeological finds on the edge of the peninsula. Visitors can walk along the stone dams on the surface of the sea. This is when images of another era succeed each other right in front of your eyes causing spontaneous sighs.

Limenaria Village

“Limeraria” is a beautiful town that is found in the southwest of the island with breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea.
“Palataki” is the most popular site in Limenaria. It resembles a sparkling jewel on a rocky cape and perhaps the most important industrial monument of the Mediterranean. It is an example of central European architecture designed by Italian architect Arigoni.
